Hajikhanova Albina Rahiddin-IRAN’S ISRAELI AND PALESTINE POLICY: REGIONAL INTERESTS, IDEOLOGICAL COLORS AND LEGAL PERSPECTIVES

I
ran’s policy on Israel and Palestine is a topic that plays a significant role in shaping

tensions and the balance of power in the Middle
East. This policy encompasses both ideological
and strategic objectives. Iran’s approach to this
issue is not only a state’s foreign policy, but also
one of the main elements of the power struggle
in the region. Iran sees Israel as its main geopolitical enemy, and this approach has become
a fundamental principle of the country’s foreign
policy, especially after 1979. Iran’s relations
with Israel were shaped by the main ideological
line of the Islamic Revolution, and Tehran’s refusal to accept the existence of Israel, as well as
its approach to the Palestinian issue, also have an
adverse effect on its relations with most states in
the region.
