Sports is an area that millions of people
around the world are interested in and
follow. However, crimes in the sports environment - doping, bribery, game manipulation and
violence - seriously damage the credibility of
this field. To prevent these crimes, the role of international and local legislation, as well as the
actions of sports organizations (FIFA, IOC, etc.)
are of exceptional importance. In the article, we
will examine these two aspects in detail.
International legislation provides the basic
framework for combating sports crimes. For example, the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA)
[10] sets global standards for anti-doping.
