TRANSNATIONAL ASPECTS OF TERRORISM INVESTIGATIONS:
CHALLENGES, STRATEGIES, AND LEGAL FRAMEWORKS
Terrorism is still affecting the security situation of many societies, and it commonly transcends the borders of an individual state. As these acts spread to different parts of the world, the need to understand how countries respond to them becomes more important. Investigators must now cope with situations where people, ideas, and resources move freely from one country to another. This movement creates new challenges, as it becomes more difficult to track suspects or obtain reliable information within a particular area. For this reason, the investigation of terrorism is no longer the responsibility of a single country but rather that of all countries working together and communicating effectively [1, p. 112].
